Position overview:

Fast growing privately owned creative agency seeking a senior marketing individual to join the existing management team. This position would suit a mid-career individual interested in working in an entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements:

Degree in either Communications/Marketing/Business or related disciplines is preferred.

Minimum 5-8 years through-the-line marketing communications/product marketing (particularly with new media) in a multinational or agency environment is desirable.

Proven track record of managing in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments

Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Native Japanese language capacity is strongly desired.

Experience in direct accountability for managing supplier relationships. Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies for mature and emerging markets/products.

Entrepreneurial and management skills - the ability to grasp concepts very quickly, and deal with ambiguity whilst being able to develop a
framework for progressing initiatives.

A self motivated individual with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast paced environment is required. Strong understanding of the various approaches to marketing, targeting, segmentation and positioning for competitive advantage along with market trends is desirable.

Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal reporting relationships. Strong customer orientation.

Ability to form and nurture strong working relationships in a virtual team environment.
