Open Lecture: “Middle East and Japan in an interpreter’s eyes”

The International Student Center and the Foreign Language Research and Teaching Center will hold a public lecture as part of the international activity called “Living with a Diversity of Languages and Worldviews,” inviting Mr. Abdalla Al Moamen as speaker. The title will be “Middle East and Japan in an interpreter’s eyes; a discussion on Iraq issues from a multilingual and multicultural viewpoint.”

Mr. Abdalla is a simultaneous interpreter for NHK-BS1 World News Hour in Arabic and an instructor of the Arabic Conversation Program on NHK educational channel. He also works as an instructor at Daito Bunka University, Tokyo.
