Seeking potentially supervisible experienced person (Supervisor) for STS (Science, Technology and Society) research study.
He/She should have background in one special research area of Science and Technology and also have strong interests in SSH (Social Science and Humanities) fields, like history of science & technolgoy, science communication, science or industrial policy, social discours analysis, science & arts, etc.  The aim is to perform a research study of comparative STS (between JP and other countries) on one or two specific issues, like Energy, GMO, Environment, Nanotech etc.
One of this STS research activities is based on our cross disciplinary team at the national institute of science & technology policy, but at this time this is team building phase, so, it is possible to implement this into your concerned academic groups (faculty, university, institute).
