Literary legend, film critic and man about town Donald Richie comes back
to Sun and Moon Yoga for his second appearance on Saturday, February
18th at 7:30pm to read from his new collecton of short stories set in
Tokyo, “A View from the Chuo Line,” published by Tokyo’s own Printed
Matter Press. This will be an inspiring, intimate event where Donald
will talk about the art of writing the short story, and will read from
his newest book. Cost: 1,500yen, which includes a signed copy of “A View
from the Chuo Line.” Reservations necessary. Please email

Though Donald is 82, he doesn’t show any sign of slowing down soon. He’s
an inspiration to all of us who write, want to write, dream about
