I had heard of the BookCrossing.com site a number of times, but it was only recently—when a colleague gave me a book he had finished—that I took a serious look at it.

Because I think this kind of sharing is a very good idea, and because SWET did not get around to having its customary book fair this year, I have started registering some of the books that I would have given away anyway. If any of these titles (I’ll be registering more when I get a chance—I’ve only had a chance to scratch the surface this evening) are of interest to anyone reading this message, drop me a line (either here or there), and I’ll arrange to send the one(s) you are interested in.

All I ask is that you pass the book along when you are done with it, in keeping with the spirit of BookCrossing.com. Of course, if you want to offer to share some of your own books in exchange, I certainly will not object.
