SWET Newsletter
The SWET Newsletter is a quarterly journal published for the members of the Society of Writers, Editors, and Translators. In addition to feature articles on topics of interest to members, it carries columns on professional experience, English usage, and publishing practice; reports on monthly lecture/panel discussion meetings, workshops, and other recent activities; book reviews, tips on resources for SWET-related professionals working in Japan, other information of interest and assistance to members, and classified advertisements.
The content of the Newsletter is compiled and edited by volunteers. The editorial team welcomes members and non-members alike to share information, experience, and expertise, join in planning the content of issues, to write reports and articles, or to do copyediting and/or proofreading. Suggestions for articles, letters in response to previously published articles, and ideas for improvement of the Newsletter are welcomed.
Articles will be selected and edited at the discretion of the Newsletter editorial team in collaboration with the author(s) and may be subsequently or simultaneously published on the SWET website with the permission of the author(s).
Copyright License: The submission of a manuscript to the SWET Newsletter grants the Newsletter one-time print rights.
