IJET-25 Opens to Full Capacity

As a reminder to those attending or simply following the event, IJET-25 opens at Tokyo Big Sight on June 21 & 22, 2014 to full capacity.

This is the first-ever IJET to actually be held in Tokyo (many were held in Yokohama), and the event is the world’s largest Japanese-English translation and interpreting hub. Highlights include: Over 50 sessions, panel discussions, and workshops; a focus on tools, business nous, and interpreting; plus ample opportunities for networking and socializing.

SWET participants will be gathering at a table in the foyer throughout the two-day conference. The table will feature SWET publications, such as the just-published Wordcraft: The SWET Files 2013-2014 and the Japan Style Sheet. SWET will also be hosting a lunch on Sunday, and throughout the IJET event, SWET stalwarts will be on hand to mingle with, answering questions as necessary.
